Universal Tower's dark production on hold

And the production of the Dark Tower finally gets underway, all our hopes may be dashed again. There is a rumor going around that Universal Studios is about to abandon the project due to budget problems!

Although Universal and Ron Howard, Imagine Entertainment are denying the rumor, Mike Fleming (Term) believes that there is some truth behind it as all pre-production staff have been told to stop working. Discussion between all parties is the time course, but just knowing if they will find a way to proceed. With all the tools of falls is hard to believe that the beginning of September will go ahead as planned, despite what happens next.

As we know, the Dark Tower is a very ambitious project, perhaps even more than the Lord of the Ring trilogy. Production is set to three feature films, sandwiching two television miniseries. Ron Howard is to be at the helm and Javier Bardem has been chosen to play the lead role of Roland Deschain.

There's still hope though as Fleming believes that if Universal is out, the entire production could be set in response and be assumed by Warner Bros, where weeds [Akiva] Goldsman Road has a deal "-" change "is when producer (Imagine Entertainment) can be purchased to another study, either in whole or in association with Universal Studios.

The path to the Dark Tower would not be easy, but hopefully one of the studies have enough faith in the imagination of Stephen King to take you to the end.
